* WHAT...Freezing rain and mixed precipitation across northern Lewis
and much of Jefferson County. Additional ice accumulations around
one tenth of an inch.
* WHERE...Jefferson and Lewis Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday
morning commute.
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 3 to 6 inches
across the Chautauqua Ridge, but only 1 to 2 inches along the Lake
Erie shore and east of the Chautauqua Ridge.
* WHERE...Chautauqua County.
* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slushy and slippery road conditions. Slushy and
wet paved surfaces may freeze as temperatures drop into the 20s
overnight.
The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute.
* WHAT...Wet snow. Additional snow accumulations 1 to 3 inches will
bring totals into the 2 to 5 inch range.
* WHERE...Niagara and Orleans Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slushy and slippery road conditions. Slushy and
wet paved surfaces may freeze as temperatures drop into the 20s
overnight.
* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 possible.
* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeastern New Jersey,
and southeastern New York.
* WHEN...From late Monday night through Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.
